About Historic Homes Explorer
Preserving Britain's architectural legacy through innovative education and immersive experiences
Our Mission
Making architectural heritage accessible to everyone
Historic Homes Explorer was founded in 2019 with a singular vision: to democratise access to Britain's extraordinary architectural heritage. We believe that understanding our built environment enriches lives, strengthens communities, and ensures the preservation of irreplaceable historic buildings for future generations.
Through cutting-edge virtual reality technology, expert-led online courses, and hands-on restoration workshops, we bring centuries of architectural excellence directly to students, professionals, and enthusiasts worldwide. Our platform provides unprecedented access to private estates, closed historic homes, and the expertise of leading conservation specialists.
We partner with heritage organisations, conservation trusts, and master craftspeople to deliver authentic, academically rigorous content that respects both historical accuracy and contemporary conservation principles.
